JOHNNY GWYNN
Johnny Gwynn is a Nashville based singer-songwriter who now calls Music City home. Guitar is his instrument of choice and he plays it well. Born and raised in New England, Johnny has always made music a central part of his life. Despite growing up in Falmouth, MA—a quaint coastal town in upper Cape Cod—he has played around the country and traveled all around the world, making homes in Phoenix, AZ, Manchester, England, and most recently Nashville, TN. Johnny’s passion for crafting songs in a multitude of genres is what sets him apart.
No matter the circumstances or setting, be it writing with country artists in Nashville or packing up a van and playing rock ’n’ roll at dive bars & clubs throughout the country, Johnny’s mission is simply to create music that connects with his audience and keeps them engaged! Johnny signed with Verdict Music in 2021.
His debut single “Days of Thunder” perfectly captures the essence of young, carefree love and the relaxed spirit of coastal New England life. And who better to speak on the topic of coastal beach life than the man who actually lived it? Sung in the key of teenage angst with lyrics that effectively transport us back to our own youthful days, “Days of Thunder” delivers its message in an epic, if not anthemic, thunderous roar.
